Liz Houle, VSA-CDT

Owner and certified trainer

Liz has been a pet care professional since 2018, founding Puptown Girl in 2019 in Philadelphia. After providing pet care on the east coast for a year, she moved her business to Bend, Oregon in 2020 and has been committed to giving Central Oregon the best pet care possible. Liz became a certified R+ dog trainer through Victoria Stilwell Academy, and is passionate about showing others how they can live their best lives with their animals, without any punishment or aversive methods.

In her spare time, she enjoys clicker training her horses, riding or hiking the Oregon trails with her husband and their two dogs.

Hunter

Dog walker / Pet sitter

Hunter is a traveler, tea connoisseur, and animal activist involved in wildlife conservation initiatives around the globe. They've worked with reputable rehabilitation-to-release programs in Perú, Cambodia, and Thailand, and volunteer with local shelters along the west coast. When they're not traveling, Hunter spends their time perusing bookstores, trying new recipes, and hiking with their huskies, Boo and

Mochi.

Emma

Dog walker / Pet sitter

Emma is currently getting her masters in clinical mental health counseling at OSU Cascades. Growing up she was always around animals, from competing with horses, to helping at her grandparents cattle farm and spending time with family cats and dogs. When she's not in class or walking dogs, you can find her spending time in nature with family and friends or baking at home.

Alena

Dog walker / Pet sitter

Alena has had a lifelong love of animals. Growing up surrounded by pets -- including horses, dogs, guinea pigs, and cats -- she formed deep bonds with animals from an early age. An equestrian since the age of seven, Alena developed her passion for animal care through her connection with horses and the many barn cats and dogs she befriended along the way. She has spent years volunteering in animal advocacy, walking and caring for shelter dogs. â€‹

Today, Alena's pet menagerie includes her beloved cat, Willow; her retired equitation horse, Pauly; and an aquarium full of fish, shrimp, and snails.​

A recent graduate of Oregon State University- Cascades, Alena is currently pursuing her Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) certificate at Central Oregon Community College.
